Benson requires some special handling, as his background is unknown. He can be nippy, does not like other dogs, and is unpredictable in behavior. When we had him in the house, he was crate trained, and learned the out "pattern" quickly. Barked at the other dogs as he passed them. did not usually bark at those that passed his crate. Would come in calmly, go to crate, sit and wait for his treat. maybe another rescuer with more time to work with him would get better results.
